Steve began his career with an 11-year “warm up” in the ad business where he worked as a copywriter/associate creative director, on national accounts such as Boeing, HP, AAA Washington, Sikorsky Helicopters, and Cigna. In the latter years of his ad career, Steve began getting behind the camera directing and editing in-house projects for a number of clients including Speakeasy, Group Health and others. In 2003, he left the ad world to focus on writing, directing and editing full time through his production boutique, Remedy Pictures. He has since had the opportunity to direct national commercials for clients such as ESPN and the Little League. Additionally, he has directed and edited regional commercial and videos for clients such as Microsoft, Ronald McDonald House, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, and others. His short documentary “Mary Klein: Street Artist” played at film festivals around the world. He lives in West Seattle with his wife and two daughters.
