Bekemeier's comedic spots are anything but run-of-the-mill. Whether it's an Esther Williams styled spot, or a more ironic mockumentary styled spot, he always brings his own style to the commercial. Jonathan prides himself on his ability to work with both actors and real people. During shooting, he sets up a nurturing environment for real people and a collaborative environment for actors which, is vital to successful performances. Bekemeier has worked with a variety of agencies and clients including McDonald's, Blue Cross Blue Shield, LendingTree.com and First Tennessee Bank among others. His filmmaking credits include directing 'Titler', a surreal satire that won honorable mention at the Sundance Film Festival. He also was the DP of 'Black and White and Red All Over,' a 1997 Sundance film. Jonathan attended Emerson College and got his start directing music videos for groups like The Pixies and Buffalo Tom. He currently lives in Boston.
